Ducati Omaha 2018 Strada Tour - July 7/8
Coming up July 7th/8th!
*** OPEN TO ALL DUCATI OWNERS!!! ***
This will be an OVERNIGHT trip, with accommodations on Saturday night in the historic town of Weston, Missouri at the famous St. George Hotel, where we have a dedicated block of rooms reserved. We have designed this ride to be RELAXED and not a hard-core "Iron Butt" touring ride, perfect for those who are not regular touring riders. Passengers/spouses are welcome and encouraged to come along for this trip. We will make multiple stops along the way, approximately 1 hour of riding between stops!
Note: We will have a "Chase Vehicle" on the trip as well, and we will be happy to haul any luggage or gear that you don't want to carry on your bike!
Saturday July 7th
3:00 - 4:00 p.m. - Riders gather at Ducati Omaha. Please have a FULL tank of fuel!
4:00 p.m. SHARP - Ride departs from Ducati Omaha
7:30 p.m. - Arrival at destination, time to relax!
8:30 p.m. - Group Dinner
Sunday July 8th
9:30 a.m. - Ride departs from Weston
11:30 a.m. - Arrival at lunch destination
1:00 p.m. - Ride departs
2:30 p.m. - Arrival back in Omaha
The ride itself is approximately 180 miles each way, and we will have TWO fuel/rest stops both directions.
Event Cost:
Initial Reservation Deposit: $50 per bike
Final Trip Payment (day of departure): $50 for Single Room, or $25 for Shared Room.
(So total trip cost is only $100 for a single room, or $75 for a shared room)
Passengers riding along are welcome at no additional cost.
Ducati Omaha will be picking up the tab for the remainder of the hotel costs, as well as the group meal on Saturday night and lunch on Sunday as a THANK YOU for being a loyal Ducatista!
SPACE IS LIMITED - We have a maximum of 15 hotel rooms reserved, once those rooms are full the event will be closed for registration, so get signed up EARLY to reserve your slot!
Room Accomodations:
For individual riders, there is very limited availability to split a hotel room with another rider, please let us know at the time of your reservation if you would like to share a room, and if so whether you already have a specific rider who you'd like to share the room with. There are only FOUR "shareable" rooms available with double queen beds in them, so first come/first served on those! The remainder of the rooms are single Queen bed rooms.
